“Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling an emptiness we didn’t even know we had.”
September 19th, 2016 we lost our Tobey unexpectedly at the age of 14. Although he lived a long and happy life with us, we were not ready to let him go.
We found Tobey at the SGRR 14 years ago all alone looking undernourished with fear in his eyes. I can still remember our three children running around playing with all the golden retrievers. Suddenly they stopped at Tobey, his tail started wagging and he smiled ( if you look as his pictures you see he actually smiles) and we knew right then, this dog is special. He belonged to us and we belonged to him.
Tobey, we will all miss sneaking you peanut butter, bacon, eggs, tortilla chips, and Brandon’s left-overs. You will forever be in our hearts!
REST NOW OUR BOY !!!!!
