Hello! My name is Ivy and I’m 3 years old. I’m in a foster home and have been for a few months getting used to living in a home with people. They now say I’m ready to leave the nest and move on to my permanent home. My background is that I was being used as a breeding dog, I had never lived in a home, and was not socialized around people.
I was extremely timid and skittish when I first came into the rescue and a foster home. I was more comfortable with the dogs in my foster home than I was with people.
But all of that has changed and I’m now a happy girl who is even a little pushy when wanting attention and I love my foster family. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and love to run and play with the other young dogs in my foster home. So, I really want a playmate in my new home. The only thing I don’t like to do is leave the house; I do object to being on leash. My foster can tell you more about this. If you think you have the right home for me please contact SGRR through the website.
