Meet Ava! This 1-year-old female Golden Retriever is a happy, energetic youngster who’s still learning her way in the world. She’s going to need a home that’s committed to continued training, supervision, and positive reinforcement to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Ava is dog-friendly and does well going out with other dogs at the Pet Resort, showing she enjoys canine companionship. When she first came into our care, she stayed in a home setting and did very well—she had lots of puppy energy but was not destructive, which is a great sign for her future.

With patience, structure, and love, this bright girl will thrive. She’d be a wonderful match for an active adopter who’s excited to invest time in training and ready for all the fun (and cuddles!) that come with a young Golden Retriever.
